Being the youngest of five children, our home was always filled with lots of love and great food. I had the chance to watch my mother, Pauline, prepare amazing dishes for our family. I watched her every move. The way she seasoned food. The care she placed in preparing our food on plates. The smile she had when a dish turned out just right. That stuck with me and stirred in me a lifelong passion to spread love through food. 

Even in my saddest moments, like the last meal my father, Fred, requested, the chili beans I made just for him were my way of saying, "I love you and I'll miss you. Thank you for showing me how to love and take care of a family." He died just a few days later. 

That moment sparked the beginning of my calling to continue to spread love through food, but on a larger scale. For more than 30 years, I worked at American Airlines. After retiring, I decided to go back to college and get training as a Chef and in Hospitality Management. It was important for my clients to know that I invested in myself and my business to make sure that they were receiving high-quality food, with first-class service.
